PGA
Golf Professional , Ned McGinley, received his Class A PGA
National status in the spring of 1994. He graduated from
the San Diego Golf Academy with an associates degree in Golf Operations
Management. He then apprenticed at Blue Mound Golf and Country
Club under the tuteledge of Russ Tuveson who won the WPGA
Teacher three different years within his career. In 1994 he returned
to run the family owned business. Norsk Golf Bowl has been
in the McGinley family since 1970 which is when Ned started his
golf career mowing greens at the age of eight. Ned is responsible
for all the greenskeeping at Norsk and finds great enjoyment in
mowing, fertilizing, and keeping the course in the best shape
possible. He also teaches numerous junior and adult golf
lessons in a small learning environment. He is very
knowledagable in club repair and also builds custom fit golf clubs
to meet any golfer's needs. Ned McGinley has for the last 13 years
cooperatively managed Norsk Golf Bowl with his wife, Kerry, who
has a B.S. in Recreation Resource Management from the UW-Madison.

Kerry
can help you plan any special event and is the Clubhouse Manager.
They have 2 teenage children and when not working together enjoy
flyfishing, skiing, and fishing the west in the fall. Norsk Golf
Bowl has a longstanding dedicated staff with employees that have
been with us for all of our 13 years and many with over five years
as an employee of Norsk. In 2005 Norsk Golf Club received the
Membership Services Award for a nine hole course from the
Golf Course Owners Association of Wisconsin. Norsk
Golf Club currently belongs to the following organizations:
National
Golf Course Owners Association, Golf Course Owners Association
of Wisconsin, PGA of America, Wisconsin PGA, United States
Bowling Congress, Mount
Horeb Chamber of Commerce and Wisconsin Independent Businesses.
Norsk supports numerous fundraising efforts with countless donations
throughout the
year.
