In 1998, Peggy Flora Zalucha, Tamlyn Akins, and Doug E.L.
Haynes were hired by the Pleasant Company to paint six 12
foot murals to be used in the new American Girl Place in Chicago.
The images are used as backdrops in displays that exhibit
the complete line of American
Girl Dolls. The dreamlike, misty quality was developed
to stimulate the imaginations of the viewers. |
